DESCENDANT BRIEF BIOGRAPHY By ARIELLE HERZBERGArielle Herzberg is an attorney at the ACLU of Colorado. She was previously an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York City and a law clerk to Judge Stanley Chesler in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Arielle is a law school and college graduate of University of Pennsylvania and an alum of Solomon Schechter Day School in West Orange, NJ (now known as Golda Och Academy).
After graduation from Penn law, she clerked for Judge Stanley R. Chesler in federal district court in Newark, New Jersey. She also was a legal fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union. In October 2017 she was a second-year associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. She lived at that time on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with her twin sister, Ilana.
