DESCENDANT BRIEF BIOGRAPHY BY NURIT BARON
Nurit is the daughter of Lore Prag who survived the Holocaust via the Kindertransport with her brother, Peter Bravman. Nurit’s grandmother, Ilse, also survived by making it to America in September 1941. Her grandmother had been forced to wear a yellow star wherever she went in Stuttgart, Germany, before safely leaving. Two more months and her grandmother would have been sent off with the other Jewish citizens of Stuttgart to be murdered.
